Frequently Asked Questions

The early cohort is for a studio initiative built around a central question: What if animation IP could start building an audience while it's still in production, rather than waiting until after launch?

Through our partnership with Candune's version control system, we're exploring how tracking your creative process and sharing it strategically on social media can help grow an audience for your animated IP before it's finished. We're bringing together a small group of artists, producers, brands, and students to test this approach.

It's for people actively working on or thinking about:

Building animation IP

Using social media to grow an audience during production, not just after

Creating long-term value, not just finished projects

How version control and transparent workflows can support audience building

Our full-service animation packages typically include:

Behind-the-scenes studio insight into how we use Candune's version control to track iterations and share our process on social platforms

Workflows that connect version history to social content turning production decisions into audience engagement

Chances to test version-controlled collaboration on real projects

Early access to our studio systems for building IP with an audience in mind from day one

This isn't a polished product with a fixed feature set, it's evolving work.

Both

Brands, producers, and independent creators all face similar challenges: animation often launches before there's an audience for it. Through Candune's version control and social-first workflows, we're exploring how making the creative process visible and sharing it as you go can build audience interest and momentum during production, whatever the scale.

We're building in stages.

Access is rolled out gradually based on relevance and fit, not when someone signed up. Some people might get invited earlier if their work aligns closely with what we're currently testing with Candune's version control system.

While Candune is the technical backbone, this is about thinking, workflow, and creative decisions not technical expertise. The version control system supports transparent collaboration and makes it easier to share your process on social media, but you don't need to be a developer to participate.

This is a studio-led exploration rooted in real production work and powered by Candune's file management system. We share insight through actual decisions, version histories, and outcomes not lessons or templates. You'll see how version control and social media work together to help animation IP grow an audience during production, in practice.
